Gravity was some watch!

Finally got around to seeing Gravity. In IMAX 3D to be precise. And what an immersive experience it was. Many of us may never get to go to outer space, but that was probably the closest we could do.

If Sandra Bullock doesn't win an Oscar for this, obviously I haven't seen any of the other contenders.
Especially, the last 20minutes is just riveting stuff.

Was it just me or the scene where she crawls on to the sand, trying to pick herself up pretty symbolic of the cycle of evolution. For someone who's using the trapped cocoon like environment in space to run away from her problems, I thought that scene was shot just beautifully depicting a new lease of life, without human contact to rescue her which would have spoilt it I feel.

Brilliant direction and a great background score to boot as well.
Top, top movie.
